347T - Aerial Mobility

The Robotic Aerial Mobility group develops innovative technologies for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), and contributes to their flight project implementation. The group provides robotic solutions tailored to the unique challenges associated with aerial robots, with a focus on guidance, navigation, and control, that expand autonomy and mobility capabilities. Areas of interest include:

  • Modelling and control of fast, unstable, and nonlinear dynamics
  • Sensor fusion for state estimation and situational awareness
  • Automated, risk-aware mission-planning, decision-making, and 3D trajectory optimization
  • Innovative robotic system designs for aerial vehicles, including hybrid mobility systems
