The Rover Control Workstation (RCW) is a software program created to control the Mars Pathfinder Sojourner Rover on the surface of Mars. RCW was created to be the sole operator interface for the Mars Pathfinder Sojourner Rover and was used in every phase of that mission from pre-launch rover readiness, testing and operation straining, cruise phase commanding to surface operations commanding. RCW is the precursor of the robotic user interface tool RSVP (Robot Sequencing and Visualization Program) for all the future Mars surface missions.
