The Robotic System Development Group seeks to lead the design and engineering software tools for operating autonomous robotic systems . This includes:
- Design and creation of ground software tools to enhance operability of robots
- Software infrastructure design and implementation for mission operations
- Flight-software-in-the-loop simulation of robot behaviors
- Human-in-the-loop software system to validate and verify command sequence
- 3D visualization and command sequence automation tools in verification and validation, traceability, and documentation for operating space robotic systems.
