Currently, Cristina is the Autonomy and Software V&V lead for CADRE (Cooperative Autonomous Distributed Robotic Exploration), a lunar surface multi-agent autonomy technology demonstration.
Cristina was part of the NASA InSight Instrument Deployment Systems Team and has worked on Surface Operations (downlink, uplink, and strategic roles) for deployment phase, science monitoring, and the HP3 Anomaly Resolution Team (ART). She also contributed to ATLO, V&V, and Testbed efforts.
Cristina is on the software and autonomy team for Mars Science Helicopter.
Cristina was the Task Manager of Barn Owl, a small unmanned aerial system project.
Cristina wrote multi-agent behavior software for USV Swarm and has worked on software integration and testing for USV Swarm.
At Penn, Cristina worked on an autonomous surface vehicle (ASV) for ocean exploration and data gathering. Additionally, her coursework included path planning and control of quadrotors, machine vision and perception, design of mechatronic systems, and linear and nonlinear controls. She is originally from Old Bridge, NJ.
