Will Reid is a robotics technologist investigating wheel-on-leg mobility modes for efficient traversals on Enceladus and Europa analogue terrains. Will received a Ph.D. from the Australian Centre for Field Robotics at the University of Sydney in 2018. His PhD thesis investigated system design, motion modelling and path planning for a high degree-of-freedom wheel-on-leg robot operating on a Martian analogue terrain. Will has also worked with the European Space Agency and German Aerospace Centre on a sounding rocket experiment to investigate aerosol particle distribution in the middle atmosphere. He received a Bachelors degree of Mechatronics Engineering and Bachelors of Computer Science from the University of Melbourne in 2012.
