Biography

Paul is a robotics mechanical engineer. He completed his Ph.D. focused on mechanical adaptation through compliance in 2021. His work includes grippers, anchors, locomotion systems, growing robots, and in-situ power generation. Additionally, he has worked as an ROV operator, maintaining and piloting deep sea vehicles. At JPL, Paul has worked on adhesive-enabled grippers, cold-tolerant hardware, and underwater vehicles.
