Biography

Kristopher is a research technologist in the Robotics Modeling and Simulation Group at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. His research interests include kinematic and dynamic analysis of vehicles and robotic systems, mechanism design, and developing techniques for physical-based multibody dynamics simulation.

Prior to joining JPL, he worked as a product development engineer for FSA and e*thirteen, where he developed components for bicycle drive-trains, and as a research assistant at the University of California, Davis. He received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2002 and an M.S. in Materials Science and Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of California, Davis in 2014 and 2017.
